We are seeking a Social Media Specialist / Sales Assistant to join our team. This exciting position combines the responsibilities of a retail sales assistant with a creative social media role, offering a unique opportunity to engage with our customers both in-store and online.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Sales Assistant:

  • Deliver a friendly, engaging customer experience, helping clients find styles that make them feel confident and comfortable.
  • Provide expert styling advice and assist customers with their fashion needs, particularly in our lingerie department, including bra fitting.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and contribute to sales goals.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure smooth store operations and an inviting, organized shopping environment.
  • Keep visual merchandising standards up-to-date, especially in fashion and lingerie areas.

Social Media & Content Creation:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and team to plan, create, and execute creative social media campaigns.
  • Produce engaging content for our platforms, including photos, videos, stories, and posts.
  • Engage with customers online by responding to messages and comments, providing styling advice, and fostering community.
  • Assist with content creation, including lay-flats, video clips, and product features, using creative angles and editing tools.
  • Analyze trends, brainstorm new content ideas, and assist with email and blog campaigns.

Key Requirements

  • 1+ years of retail experience (fashion retail is a plus)
  • Demonstated experience managing a social media account.
  • A strong understanding of fashion trends and the ability to confidently style customers, especially in lingerie.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and content creation tools like Canva and Photoshop.
  • Creative flair with experience (or willingness to learn) video editing and content planning.
  • Comfortable appearing in social media content and videos.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A positive, can-do attitude, and a willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work full-time (30-40 hours per week) with weekend availability.
